RYA Powerboat Level 1

The RYA's Powerboat Level 1 is designed as a brief one day introduction into powerboating, avoiding the need for the full two day course.

The Powerboat Level 1 courses we run are always for children, so you can be sure that the instructor will make learning the ropes a fun and safe experience.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 8 - Under 12s will receive the following endorsement on their certificate "The holder should only use powered craft under the supervision of a responsible adult on board the craft."
  • 12 - 16 year olds will receive the following endorsement on their certificate "The holder should only use powered craft under the supervision of a responsible adult."
